Dr. Basel Refai, MD

For over two decades, Dr. Basel Refai has been a dedicated and compassionate physician serving the Lake Martin community. His passion for providing the highest standard of care has earned him the trust and respect of countless patients and families.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Refai also holds multiple certifications in the field of vascular medicine. He is board-certified in both General and Endo-Vascular Medicine through the American Board of Vascular Medicine and is proud to be a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Medicine (FSVM). In addition, he is credentialed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).

Outside the clinic, Dr. Refai values a balanced and healthy lifestyle. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and recently completed the Mercedes-Benz Marathon alongside one of his children—an experience that reflects both his personal commitment to wellness and his love for family.
